Job Summary:

We are urgently seeking a skilled Java Developer to take on the role of Marklogic Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this critical position, you will have the chance to develop robust systems and provide essential DevOps support for mission-critical applications. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and implementing Marklogic solutions within a collaborative DevOps framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and craft solutions that seamlessly integrate Marklogic with existing enterprise systems.
• Write and enhance XQuery, JavaScript, and REST modules within the Marklogic technology stack.
• Create and maintain Entity models to optimize data representation.
• Utilize the Marklogic library to support Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives.
• Engage in software programming projects that promote innovation and enhancements using technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
• Implement system validation and testing methods through Junit and Katalon.
• Integrate custom software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies.
• Develop, prototype, and deploy solutions in Commercial Cloud Settings using Infrastructure platform services.
• Work closely with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to align User Stories with customer requirements.
• Analyze infrastructure needs driven by your software development, ensuring alignment with customer missions.
• Support an Agile software development lifecycle, adhering to Program SAFe practices.
• Utilize leading DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Unix bash scripting.
• Document and execute software development processes, including the deployment of build artifacts across various environments.
• Communicate vital project information to team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Utilize the Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA and Confluence, for activity tracking.
• Identify and apply best practices and established operating procedures.
• Innovate solutions to address technical needs of customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in application development using the Marklogic framework.
• Strong analytical and design capabilities, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technical designs in enterprise environments.
• Experience in developing service-oriented architecture applications.
• Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.
• Experience implementing the Marklogic Java client API in enterprise settings.
• In-depth knowledge of XQuery, FLWOR queries, JavaScript, Marklogic, SPARQL, RDF data, XML data, triple-stores, and XML processing.
• Familiarity with the development of Marklogic Entity Models.
• Experience with building Marklogic data hubs.
• Competency in Unix/Shell scripting.
• Extensive experience in Java and data processing, manipulation, or querying (SQL or NoSQL).
• Proficiency in Agile practices and service-oriented environments.
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle with proven delivery in DevOps environments.
• Direct experience with software testing performance tools such as Junit.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python and Bash.
• Experience working within an Agile development context.
• Experience developing on Commercial Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Proficiency in leveraging cloud data services (e.g., S3, RDS, EFS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Note: Candidates must possess a Master's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or a PhD with 13+ years of relevant experience. An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with development in or deployment to AWS.

Pay Range: $148,850.00 - $269,075.00.
