Job Description
This position serves on a team of Oracle Cloud experts working on the implementation and post go-live support of the Oracle Cloud Scheduling software. During the implementation product, this person will be responsible for the build and configuration of 800+ Nursing departments and 200 Non-Nursing Departments system configuration. Post go-live this position will provide post production support, assist with knowledge transfer activities and help ensure an overall smooth transition process to the new scheduling software. This role will also provide internal customers (Nursing/Operations) with the best possible solutions to utilize the system, roll out new functionality, identify potential process improvements, troubleshoot problems and provide user support. This person will perform other duties as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide functional support and configuration expertise to the team for ORACLE scheduling.
- Involved in all testing phases and issue resolution for the project – including integration with Epic and Point Click Care.
- Knowledge of ORACLE cloud is a must
- Partner with Nursing/Operations personnel to support business operations and satisfy user inquiries, resolve issues and support applications.
- Collaborate with peers and customers to deliver solutions.
- Maintain the existing scheduling tool for Nursing - Clairvia
Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study; and
2. Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems and applications.
Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).
Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience.
3. Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniques; or
4. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
Department Preferences
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Requirements:
- Knowledge of ORACLE Scheduling System
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio etc.).
- Implementation of other Oracle Cloud modules
Other Preferred Skills:
- Successfully completed and/or involved in at least one full life-cycle ORACLE Scheduling implementation and/or upgrade.
- Previous experience interfacing ORACLE to Epic/Point Click Care is a plus.
- Experience in PeopleSoft HR is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify problems and determine corrective actions.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills as well as an ability to handle multiple assignments in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize work and promptly resolve or escalate when necessary
- Healthcare Experience is a plus
