  • Collaborate with Data team members and Product leaders to shape the data science roadmap.
  • Apply advanced techniques like natural language processing, deep learning, and neural networks to tackle complex challenges.
  • Utilize tools such as dbt and Snowflake to clean, filter, and transform data from various sources.
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to translate business goals into data science solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement best practices for data science and machine learning.
  • Mentor team members and promote a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in data science or machine learning roles, with experience guiding team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and algorithms.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistics and tools for data analysis (e.g., Python, numpy, pandas, R).
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, experimental design, and techniques like Bayesian inference, time series analysis, and A/B testing.
  • Demonstrated success in building, deploying, and maintaining production-level machine learning models.
  • Skilled in handling large datasets and optimizing models for scalability and performance.
  • Experience with machine learning platforms (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex, Azure ML, Databricks).
  • Advanced SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, aggregations, and analytical functions.
  • Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Domo).
  • Strong technical foundation in data mining, modeling, cleansing, and validation.
  • Ability to refine vague requests into clear, actionable deliverables tailored to the audience.
  • Strong project management skills to balance short-term tasks with long-term goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • BS in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or equivalent experience.
