ABOUT OUR CLIENT

A top-ranked General Contractor is actively seeking a Lead Superintendent with experience in commercial and multifamily construction to oversee their high-profile projects from start to finish. This position offers the opportunity to lead on-site for a variety of challenging and rewarding projects.


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Lead Superintendent will bring a proven track record of managing ground-up construction, renovations, and tenant improvements on commercial and multifamily projects. These may include office buildings, multifamily residential complexes, hotels, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions. The role requires leadership in overseeing project schedules, budget management, and coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and field staff to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site supervision for all phases of assigned commercial and multifamily construction projects.
  • Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and maintain strong working relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of all projects, with accountability for both timeliness and overall project quality.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, ensuring effective coordination and management of all site activities.
  • Implement and monitor the company’s Quality Control/Quality Assurance program to maintain construction standards.
  • Lead site safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with the company’s award-winning safety program to maintain an injury-free workplace.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-8 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent in commercial and multifamily construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and project management, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects to completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel and be on-site as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
