Must Haves:
• 7+ years experience within HR, 3 years preferred HR within a manufacturing facility
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, or related field
• Working knowledge of applicable state and federal labor and employment law
• Able to apply quality control and manufacturing best practices for customer specification, code and regulatory & testing requirements
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and techniques

Insight Global is looking for a HR Manager to join a new start up plant for a large client. This role is an essential part of the Manufacturing Operational Human Resources Team, tasked with the efficient and successful management, retention, and development of 200 exempt and non-exempt employees. Responsibilities encompass recruiting, employee relations, engagement, performance management, reporting, and ensuring compliance..
Day to Day tasks:
- Develops and administers various Human Resources strategic plans and procedures for all company personnel to include but not limited to Talent Management, Cultural Improvement, Hiring, & Retention.
- Plans, organizes, and directs all activities of the HR Department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Counsel and assist employees and all levels of management in employee or management issues relating to promotion, termination, or disciplinary action
- Responsible for effectively identifying, investigating, and resolving employee relations issues.
- Develop and Implement process and tools that foster open communication and employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Implement positive employee relations processes that support business and employee needs
- Manage leadership team’s staffing and development requirements.
- Partnering with Plant Manager and entire plant leadership team to ensure a complete understanding of human capital needs and objectives.
- Effectively recruit, train, and develop high quality candidates motivated to achieve productivity and business objectives.
- Reviews evaluation of performance and aligns associate objectives to business strategy.
