Job Description

Cetera Financial Group is looking for a Advisory Billing Supervisor supporting our Specialty Operations team in El Segundo, CA, who will be responsible for providing back office operational support to these Financial Professionals via our advisory platform systems. This is an exciting role to join our team to lead a team and provide solutions support to multiple advisory programs in a fast-paced environment and world class red-carpet service to our clients.


What you will do:

  • Lead a team that owns the operational process for advisory business regarding billing of our fee based advisory accounts and call support.
  • Ability to tightly manage workflow to ensure accuracy and SLA attainment
  • Work with our Advisory Platform vendor – Envestnet and Orion and have familiarity of Advisory products.
  • Familiarity with Envestnet, Orion, Netx360, Salesforce, Microsoft Office with a large focus on Excel.
  • Work closely with other teams across the organization to achieve win-win outcomes for our Advisors. This will include Advisory Operations, Supervision/Compliance, technology, Investment Solutions Team, etc.
  • Ability to manage escalated items that need leadership intervention.
  • Capability to exercise discretion and independent judgment by formulating and implementing management policies and operating practices.
  • Participation in projects related to M&A, advisory platform changes/enhancements etc.
  • Provide coaching to associates on processing quality, handling difficult cases, career growth, etc.
  • You will proactively work to identify and resolve potential problems with respect to operational and/or billing issues.
  • You will work to identify efficiencies within the Department’s processes and procedures


What you need to have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience working in an operations focused position(s)
  • 3+ years of experience working with PCs and Microsoft Office programs with heightened focus on Excel skills
