As a BAW Developer , you'll be at the forefront of implementing automation solutions using IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow). Your technical expertise will be crucial in designing, developing, and rolling out innovative solutions that meet our business needs.
Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Analysis - Analyze BAW solution requirements and align designs with our strategic goals and architecture.
  • Collaborative Innovation - Present process concepts and collaborate with both technical and non-technical audiences to drive solutions.
  • Problem-Solving - Identify challenges and issues in current solutions, and develop plans to address them.
  • Technical Leadership - Provide insights, encourage best practices, and maintain high development standards.
  • Full Lifecycle Development - Participate in all phases of the software development cycle, from inception to post-production support, following agile methodology.
  • Core Development - Develop core system/integration components using J2EE, JMS, XML, web services, and more.
Qualifications:
  • Experience - 4+ years with IBM BPM/BAW, including responsive coaches, app migrations, and creating frameworks and utilities.
  • Technical Skills - Proficiency in Web Services (REST and SOAP), J2EE, JMS, XML, and more.
  • Detail-Oriented - Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Problem Solver - Creative problem-solving abilities to navigate roadblocks.
  • Team Player - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, team members, and supervisors.
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Sciences, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet the qualifications.
Location:
This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company's primary technology and operations center. This modern and environmentally friendly technology center will enable Zions to continue to compete for the best technology talent in the state while providing team members with an exceptional work environment with features such as:
