Job Description:nnRole Summary/Purpose:nnWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Senior Security Engineering professional to design, build and rollout of new security capabilities to improve the overall perimeter defense solution. The candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of new security capability design and rollout.nnWe're proud to offer you choice and flexibility. You may be occasionally requested to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture eventsnnEssential Responsibilities:nnDesign, implement, and maintain Perimeter Defense solutions in a large-scale enterprise environmentnnWork closely with our Cyber Security, Network, and Security Architect teams to identify the most effective security solutions.nnDevelop and maintain technical documentation related to Perimeter Defense systems.nnTroubleshoot and resolve complex security issues related to Perimeter Defense technologies.nnDevelop, implement and test strategies for the detection and prevention of security threatsnnDesign and implement network security policies, standards, and proceduresnnCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement security enhancementsnnMaintain awareness of emerging trends in Perimeter Defense technology and evaluate new tools and techniques for potential use in the organizationnnMentor and train other members of the security team in Perimeter Defense technology and best practicesnnPerform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.nnQualifications/Requirements:nnBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field or equivalent experience.nn7+ years of experience in technical security engineering with a focus on Perimeter DefensennDeep knowledge of Perimeter Defense technologies such as Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, and DDoS mitigation systems.nnStrong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security technologiesnnWorking knowledge and experience with Cloud technology including AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.nnHands-on experience with security technologies and tools such as NexGen Enterprise firewalls.nnStrong understanding of networking protocols and architecture.nnAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersnnStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced environment.nnExperience in modern coding languages such as Python and writing API calls used in the effort to automate manual tasks is strongly desired.nnIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CCNP are highly desirable.nnDesired Characteristics:nnGrade/Level: 11nnThe salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.nnActual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.nnSalaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.nnEligibility Requirements:nnYou must be 18 years or oldernnYou must have a high school diploma or equivalentnnYou must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding processnnYou must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.nnNew hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post.
