Job Description
  • Processing and maintaining accounts payable records, reconciling vendor's statements, and assuring accurate payments to suppliers.
  • Updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger. Maintaining cash applications, and chargebacks.
  • Maintaining organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and appropriate authorization.
  • Preparing and processing electronic transfers for payments and managing payments.
  • Delivering analytical, organized and detail-oriented accounting expertise.
  • Providing meaningful analysis, interpretation, and presentation of accounting and financial data, including communicating complex ideas to senior managers.
  • Assuring compliance with government regulations, as required.
  • Exercises responsibility for the accuracy and timely reporting of financial data.
  • Analyze, implement, and calculate overhead rates and breaks down fixed vs. variable cost.
  • Reviews and monitors internal controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • May supervise other team members.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE : (Minimum requirements):
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4-5 years of working experience in account payables, accounting, financial and business principles that maximized revenue and profits in a manufactured environment.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of JD Edwards is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate with upper management.
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
