Seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our dynamic team delivers information security solutions that facilitates secure data flows and the detection/prevention of unauthorized behaviors, performs system security vulnerability assessments and solution development, provides enterprise-level network, server, desktop, and application security services.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph). Capabilities - Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
- Apply knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
- Interact with the customer and other project team members
- Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components
- Support the Government in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures
- Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management
- Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data
Required Qualifications - TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Seven (7) years' experience as an ISSE on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level 2 is required.
Required Technical Skills - Able to apply knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.

$60.37 - $89.96 an hour
Pay Range: $60.37 - $ 89.96 per hour* Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation.
