Services include site development, building utilities design, and specialty design for thermal utilities and electrical distribution. Many large campuses and facilities include central utility plants that provide main utility services. The Civil/Structural Division specializes in site designs for new facilities and phased utility designs. This allows owners to replace obsolete or failed distribution systems while maintaining continuous utility service. Key focus areas are developing integrated solutions for central power plants, healthcare facilities, and campus-wide utility infrastructure. Development of civil engineering drawings including site plans, profiles, details, erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater management plans, and construction phasing plans. Technical calculations associated with civil engineering designs. Cost estimating for civil designs. Field investigations such as site surveys, and inspection of utility tunnels and manholes. The key responsibilities involve creating civil engineering drawings and specifications, performing calculations, estimating costs, and conducting field investigations to support development of civil designs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE). Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, and Windows preferred.
