Job Description
Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Job Specialty: Radiology/Cardiology
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00, Thursday/Friday/Saturday)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience; At least 1 year experience with Epic EMR
License: ARRT
Certifications: BLS, SCRQSA
Must-Have:
- Hospital experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma preferred
Job Description:
- Perform high-quality X-ray imaging procedures.
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient safety during all radiographic procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Adhere to established standards and protocols.
- Participate in routine maintenance and quality assurance checks on equipment.
- Comply with regulations, standards, and hospital policies.
- Float between units as required and perform tasks for which competencies have been demonstrated.
- Complete pre-assignment modules before the start of the contract (up to 16 hours, reimbursable).
- Mandatory orientation (16 hours, non-billable).
Additional Information:
- Flu Vaccine: Required, no exemptions.
- Pre-assignment testing and module completion required for all travelers.
- Orientation is held every Monday.
