Job Description: Mechanical Designer – HVAC & PlumbingnAbout the Role:nWe are seeking a Mechanical Designer with expertise in HVAC and Plumbing design to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing facility systems for commercial and healthcare buildings, creating detailed layouts, and working within NEC codes. This role requires proficiency in Revit and strong technical knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing systems.nKey Responsibilities:nnDesign and layout HVAC and Plumbing systems for commercial and healthcare facilities.nPerform calculations and studies for HVAC system sizing and plumbing systems.nDevelop designs for HVAC ductwork, hydronic system piping, and water and drainage systems, including isometric diagrams.nEnsure designs comply with NEC and other relevant codes.nCollaborate with project teams to ensure design alignment with modular building requirements.nUse Revit software for detailed design and modeling.nnQualifications:nnMinimum of 3+ years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing design.nProficiency in Revit is a must.nStrong knowledge of NEC codes and other relevant building codes.nExperience designing water and drainage systems, HVAC ductwork, and piping systems.nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is a plus but not required.nnPreferred Experience:nnHealthcare facility design experience.nFamiliarity with modular building design and construction.nnSalary & Benefits:nnSalary range: $60,000 – $75,000 (flexible based on experience).nCompetitive benefits package.nnLocation: Birmingham, ALnIndustry: Modular Building Design and Manufacturing for HealthcarenShift and Hours: Monday- Friday 8 AM- 5 PMnIf you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Jaie Rogers at or call 678-802-6632.
