We are constantly in pursuit of better patient care and understand that speed is critical because life cannot wait.nnPosition Summary:nnThe Laser Marking Operator is responsible for the setting-up and operating the CNC laser equipment to produce finished goods within the Implants/Trauma department. This effort includes, but is not limited to, reading drawings and work instructions. This individual works with the entire department to ensure all finished materials are laser marked correctly and up to company standards.nnEssential Functions:nnAccurately completes all quality control documentation and inspection sheetsnnFollows verbal and/or written instructions such as part drawings, traveler, work instructions, process specifications, and direction from the supervisor in completing a variety of assembly and inspection tasksnnPerforms monthly maintenance, which includes changing filters and cleaning the machinesnnWorks efficiently to achieve targeted goals; embraces Good Manufacturing Practices and inspection techniques each daynnAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policiesnnEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your rolennRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third partiesnnReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.nnQualifications:nnHigh school diploma or equivalentnnAbility to read part drawingsnnKnowledge of CAD files is a plusnnOrganized, detailed oriented, and possesses the ability to multi-tasknnAbove average manual dexterity and mechanical aptitudennAbility to perform visual inspection with the use of a microscope on small partsnnFlexible, reliable, self-starting team player with ability to work with little or no supervisionnnExcellent verbal and written communication skillsnnAttention to detailnnSelf-starternnAdvanced critical thinking and problems-solving skillsnnProficiency in using Microsoft Office productsnnPhysical Demands:nnThe physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.nnRequired to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.nnRequired to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.nnRequired to possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus.nnOur Values:nnOur Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.nnPassionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
