Title: HR Personnel Administrator (Payroll Administrator)nPay Rate: $23.50/hrnLocation: Canton, MInWe are looking for an efficient HR Personnel Administrator who will be responsible for all aspects of managing salary data, ensuring timesheets are accurate, and payments are made on time. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support by maintaining attendance tracking programs, processing payroll updates, maintaining files, and managing communications for the HR Department.nHR Personnel Administrator Position Duties:n• Evaluate the accuracy of timesheets submitted by each company department every week and contact supervisors or individual employees if there is a discrepancyn• Manage electronic timekeeping systemsn• Enter information accurately into the payroll system, including employee taxes, exemptions, transfers, and firings/resignations, as details changen• Respond to any errors in payroll by reviewing past records and making wage corrections or adjustments, when necessaryn• Track employee absences through the payroll software and recording details about personal days, sick leave, jury duty, or extended leaves of absencen• Track employee vacation accruals, approving/denying time off requests, and posting vacation calendarsn• Answer employee questions about payroll, leave amounts, tax forms, and other compensation issuesn• Participate in new employee orientationn• Handle other duties, as assigned or deemed necessary by supervisorsnPosition Requirements:n• Prior payroll experience requiredn• Strong understanding of employment and payroll taxesn• Strong basic accounting and math skillsn• Exceptional attention to detailn• Experience operating in a union environment preferredn• High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree or coursework in advanced math, finance, accounting, business, or other related field preferrednThis is a Non-Exempt position.
