Job Description:nnThe MRI technologist is responsible for compassionate and appropriate patient care while performing MRI examinations under the direction of a physician to assist in the medical diagnosis or treatment of injury.nnTo learn more, please Click here to schedule a call ( an MRI Technologist you need to know how to:nnOperate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies.nnPossess thorough knowledge and understanding of the principals and physics of magnetic resonance imaging.nnSelect appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.nnReceive patients, explain method of examination, and position patient, perform IV puncture, and administer IV contrast agent when indicated.nnIndependently perform and complete routine examinations.nnMeet the needs of the patient, family and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination and documentation ensuring safety, care, courtesy and efficiency.nnActively participate in quality initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction, highest level of patient care and workflow efficiencies.nnQualificationsnnAssociate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or one year minimum related experience and/or training, requirednnCurrent ARRT (R) (MR) or NMTCB registry, requirednnCurrent BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, requirednnAbility to interact with people of all ages, requirednnAt least one (1) year of experience as a MRI Technologist, preferrednnPhysical Requirements:nnNo Additional Description AvailablennLocation:nnSt. Marys Regional HospitalnnWork City:nnGrand JunctionnnWork State:nnColoradonnScheduled Weekly Hours:nn20nnThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
