Job Description:
- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Collect and communicate data relevant to residents' physical and psychosocial conditions to the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Contribute to the creation of a developmentally, age-appropriate, and culturally relevant plan of care for residents.
- Recommend revisions to care plans after evaluating resident outcomes and collaborate within the scope of nursing practice.
- Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practice through continuing education and in-service programs.
- Participate in mentoring and orientation of staff, and consider factors related to safety, cost, and impact in care delivery.
- Occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated, with tasks potentially involving contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
