About the team + role
Come define how AI changes the way people invest with Robinhood. We believe AI is the next key to further unlock our mission of democratizing finance for all and are looking for an experienced Product Designer to define how we leverage AI to change how customers invest. You'll be part of a team dedicated to creating cutting-edge investment products and transforming for the future of finance - as Robinhood has done before. You'll define the company strategy for leveraging AI in investing & drive launching new products working closely with a passionate group of data scientists, engineers, product managers and our leadership team. Your design thinking and crafts will be instrumental in launching innovative features and platforms that empower our users to make smarter investment decisions through advanced AI technology.

What you'll do
  • Define design strategy of how AI can transform how millions of users invest
  • Push the boundaries of our way of thinking. Create creative and innovative AI experiences that go beyond typical Graphical UIs.
  • Stay agile in your design approaches; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fidelity concepts and prototypes
  • Partner closely with your cross-functional team to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges
  • Leverage data and user insights to inform your decision-making and drive business impact
What you bring
  • 7+ years experience in product design
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates love and care for your craft
  • Proven experience building impactful 0-1 consumer-facing mobile and web products.
  • Strong product sensibility, communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills
  • Experience or interest in investing and AI
  • Bonus points for motion design, multi-media products

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood's equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)
$165,000-$194,000 USD
