Job Responsibilities: This role's primary focus is to help ensure the Finance Department is immediately available to take on new task through the day. This will increase a customer's experience with the dealerships process. The F&I Assistant will help, but not limited to:
- Recap deals
- Follow up with open RO's
- Request Unit Cost on sold units from accounting
- Complete recap
- Scan car deal into Scan123
- Overnight funding documents to lenders
- Processing warranty cancellations
- Communicating with accounting on cancellation refund status for the guest
- Providing warranty expirations to guest in service
- Quoting & Selling warranty renewals through the service drive
Other responsibilities that the F&I Assistant could assist with on occasion:
- Submit loan request to lenders
- Build loan request in Dealerbuilt
- Print loan request & titling documents for guest signings
- Hand deliver any documents needed to our accounting department at Sewell Ford.
Qualifications: In order to be successful in this position, the individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily, have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, complete a drug screening, background screening, and provide all government I-9 requirements. A combination of education, experience, and training is always considered.
