WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Lead the end-to-end design process for WordPress-based products, focusing on user-centered design, UI/UX, and the creation of visually appealing, intuitive experiences for web and mobile platforms.
  • Partner with developers, product managers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure designs are effectively translated into functional, high-performance products that align with user needs and business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain cohesive design systems, style guides, and wireframes, ensuring that all design elements align with brand guidelines, enhance usability, and ensure consistency across products.
  • Use analytics, user feedback, and performance metrics to iteratively improve designs, enhance user experience, and optimize the functionality and visual design of WordPress sites and applications.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on product/UX design experience preferably within the B2C or e-commerce industries
  • Understanding of UX flows, prototyping, wireframing, UX development and requirements management, and UX best practices.
  • Portfolio is required. (Examples of HOW you got to your finished product is important.. user flows, wireframes, prototypes, case studies, etc.)
  • Experience with WordPress is preferred
