** $5000 SIGN ON BONUS**
Join the in-house therapy team supporting over 13 orthopedic surgeons and doctors. You will treat a diverse orthopedic caseload consisting of pre-op, post-op and sports medicine patients. This position will allow you to collaborate closely with your referring physician team. Our culture supports both the clinical and career growth of our therapists. Essential Job Responsibilities: - Assesses patients and develops treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other clinicians.
- Compile rehabilitation strategies to involve specific exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles as well as to improve posture, balance and endurance.
- Document progress, re-evaluate physical findings and modify treatment strategies as appropriate.
- Work as a team with a variety of other professionals, including physicians to set a goal of reaching maximal patient functional independence.
- Assists in restoring, maintaining, and promoting overall fitness and health.
- Tests and measures patients' strength, range of motion, balance and coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration, and motor function.
- Record prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart.
- Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for re-evaluation.
- Administer manual exercises, massage, or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, or decrease or prevent deformity or crippling.
- Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
- Test and measure patient's strength, motor development and function, sensory perception, functional capacity, or respiratory or circulatory efficiency and record data.
- May use electrical stimulation, hot packs, cold compresses, ultrasound, and other PT interventions to relieve pain and reduce swelling.
- Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
- Teaches patients how to use assistive and adaptive devices such as crutches, prostheses, and wheelchairs.
- Provide educational information about physical therapy or physical therapists, injury prevention, ergonomics, or ways to promote health.
- Evaluate, fit or adjust prosthetic or orthotic devices or recommend modification to orthotist.
- Supervise tech or physical therapy assistants that may be assisting.
- May be required to attend monthly/annual staff or facility meetings.

Compensation: $83,000-$104,000 Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from accredited program; successful completion of clinical internship. Master's degree in physical therapy preferred.
Experience: New Grads and Experienced welcome.
Other Requirements: Current state physical therapist license. Current CPR certificate. Any required CEU's for license renewal.
