A medical services in Florida is currently seeking a new, licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a promising opportunity with their growing team in West Palm. In this role, the Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for the evaluation and treatment of disabilities, injuries, rehabilitation, and diseases as related to functional impairments.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7am to 3am or 8am to 4pm
- Patient Volume: 6 to 8 per day
- EMR: Athena
Responsibilities The Physical Therapist (PT) will:
- Evaluate and treat disabilities, injuries, and diseases as related to functional impairments
- Help patient develop or regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to disabilities by implementing programs
- Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote functional independence and improve the quality of life for the patient
- Delegate the plan of care to assistive personnel and monitors quality of care
- Evaluate results of physical therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommend and implement adjustments and modifications
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications: - Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- FL Physical Therapist (PT) license
- BLS certification
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills: - 2+ years of Physical Therapy experience
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
