As an Occupational Therapist, you'll provide essential rehabilitation services to patients, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Your expertise in occupational therapy will be crucial in assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments and develops personalized treatment plans.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions, including assessment, care planning, education, and equipment recommendations.
• Ensure the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Adhere to hospital safety standards and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Assist in training and mentoring new employees and therapy students.
• Regularly assume the role of Charge Therapist.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

• California Occupational Therapy License
• Current BLS-AHA certification
• 3+ years of experience in occupational therapy

Desired Qualifications:

• Inpatient hospital experience
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
