Riverview Homes, Inc is looking for a skilled and responsible CDL Driver to join our dynamic team. As a CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations by transporting materials and equipment to job sites efficiently and safely. You will ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. Your responsibilities will also include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle, maintaining accurate logs of hours and mileage, and communicating effectively with our dispatch team and site managers. Responsibilities
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as necessary.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the management promptly.
Requirements - Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record and a minimum of (X) years of driving experience preferred.
- Familiarity with local roads and construction sites is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with loading and unloading materials.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the transportation of materials.
- Reliability and strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
