Operations Support Specialist
As an Operations Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Clubs, helping to ensure that all operational processes are running smoothly. You will work closely with the Operations teams, Club Team Members, and CSC departments to support process improvements, training, and troubleshooting. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will help enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our retail operations.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Act as a liaison between the Clubs and CSC/Field Organization to ensure Club initiatives are implemented with clear club expectations in an easy to execute manner.
Work with the same CSC/Field Organization on constant improvement of existing processes and system enhancements.
Responsible to write Club standard operating procedures and day to day communications.
Assist in the training of new store staff on operational processes, systems, and policies.
Responsible to assist with testing strategies and the execution of user testing for Club Support applications.
Act as a point of contact for clubs to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to processes, technology, or systems.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred).
Experience: 2+ years of experience in retail operations, retail management, or a related field.
Skills:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to clearly communicate information (both written and verbal).
Strong follow up, ability to work independently and have some flexibility with scheduling are strongly desired.
Being able to work in a fast-paced environment and easily change prioritization is essential.
Ability to understand and develop constructive partnerships with functional business partners on a day-to-day basis and ability to negotiate with peers.
Basic Microsoft office knowledge and the ability to learn systems quickly is needed but will train candidates that have at least 1 year of Club experience, including 1 or more of the following: Club Human Resources, Member Services, Frontline and/or Cash Office is preferred.
Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights.
Position based out of Home Office
Up to 25% travel
Some weekend and holiday work required

At BJs Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $55,000.00.
