North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Radiology Technologist Supervisor for a job in Tupelo, Mississippi.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Radiology TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalDuration: OngoingEmployment Type: Staff Supervises and coordinates the activities of the clerical staff, Staff Technologist and Radiologic Technology Students. Evaluates and provides feedback regarding individual and team performance. Recommends merit increases and corrective actions for staff within scope of responsibility. Ensures that procedures are performed accurate and in a timely manner. Ensures that equipment/supplies are maintained and used properly. Communicate effectively with staff, patients and physicians as required. Stays abreast of the latest advances and procedures in radiology. Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures Guidelines. Ensure a smooth and efficient operation of 3-11 PM shift. All other duties as assigned.Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required. Registered by ARRT and Licensed as required by the State of Mississippi (MRT). Have a minimum of 3 years Technical Radiographic experience required. Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required. Strong interpersonal skills required.
