Responsibilities:
As part of our Cath Lab Team, our IR Techs works with proceduralists as part of a procedural team to perform interventional procedures. Operates medical imaging equipment (single and bi-plane fluoroscopic angiographic equipment, Ultrasound, Intravascular Ultrasound IVUS) and assists with device management.
Qualifications:
EducationGraduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology requiredExperience1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab or Surgical Services requiredAnnual demonstration of independent interventional radiologist proficiency requiredLicenses and CertificationsBLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) requiredCRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist requiredCRTFP - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit requiredARRT - American Registry Radiologic Technologists required
