We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our clinical research team for a vaccine study. This position plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of a non-blinded vaccine clinical trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in phlebotomy, patient care, and administrative tasks within a clinical research or healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy, including drawing blood and processing samples, ensuring proper labelling and handling.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure.
- Dispense investigational products (IPs) as directed, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Greet and assist study participants at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Manage participant scheduling, check-ins, and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the research team to ensure the smooth running of the non-blinded vaccine study.
- Adhere to all safety, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in phlebotomy with proficiency in blood draws.
- Familiarity with clinical research studies or vaccine trials is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with participants and team members.
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of a clinical research environment.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is a plus.
