Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Manager to lead and oversee the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions within our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving product quality by applying principles of Six Sigma , Lean Manufacturing , statistical process control (SPC) , and other best practices.


The role will require strong leadership skills to mentor a team, foster cross-functional collaboration, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) , and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant industry certifications. As the Quality Manager, you will drive continuous improvement , ensure product consistency, and oversee risk management processes to uphold high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to ensure high-quality production, meeting customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and manage quality management systems (QMS) to drive consistency in product quality and align with company objectives.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other data analysis techniques to monitor manufacturing processes, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct internal audits , manage supplier audits , and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 , ISO 14001 , and other relevant industry standards.
  • Apply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies to reduce waste, improve process efficiency, and continuously improve product quality.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and use failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) to assess and mitigate risks.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues and ensure long-term improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and procurement to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes.
  • Drive supplier quality management , ensuring that suppliers meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver quality reports , providing insights on key performance indicators (KPIs), quality trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Oversee risk management processes, identifying quality risks and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to address potential problems.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the quality team is well-trained and equipped to meet evolving industry standards.
  • Manage the quality documentation system, ensuring that all records and reports are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.


Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in quality management or a similar role in a manufacturing environment , with a strong focus on process improvement and product consistency.
  • Expertise in Six Sigma (Black Belt/Green Belt), Lean Manufacturing , and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and other industry-specific quality standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, TS16949).
  • Hands-on experience in conducting root cause analysis , leading corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) , and using failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) .
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Experience with audit management , including both internal and supplier audits .
  • Excellent communication, negotiation , and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead change initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier quality management , ensuring suppliers meet or exceed quality expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving , decision-making , and risk management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) , material testing , or similar techniques is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management , Industrial Engineering , or a related field.
  • Certifications in Six Sigma (Black Belt/Green Belt) or Lean Manufacturing .
  • Experience with customer quality assurance programs and the ability to maintain strong customer relationships.
