Job Overview:
n
Medical receptionists are responsible for providing a great first impression of Rendr by warmly welcoming patients to the practice and providing exceptional customer service throughout the visit.
n
Essential Functions:
n
n- Warmly greet and direct patients, vendors, and visitors as they enter the practice.
n- Schedule new appointments and coordinate follow up appointments.
n- Process insurance information to determine patient eligibility and collect copays accurately.
n- Check-in patients upon arrival and assist with completion of paperwork when needed.
n- Address questions specific to insurance benefits and coverage and escalate questions to Billing Team when appropriate.
n- Check/prepare lab or imaging reports.
n- Verify accuracy of patient information and make appropriate changes or updates in records.
n- Conduct follow-up reminder calls to patients when needed.
n- Answer phone calls and handle all inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
n- Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
n- Handle sensitive and confidential patient data appropriately.
n- Other related duties as assigned by office manager.

Qualifications:
n
n- Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
n- Bilingual in English and Chinese required.
n- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
n- Strong sense of accountability.
n- Dedication to patient satisfaction and safety.
n- Adaptability and flexibility able to work in different offices.
n- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
n- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
n- EMR system familiarity preferred.
