Job Descriptionnn· A company in the Austin, TX area is looking for an Electrical Installer. This person will be responsible for going to one project site every 2 days to every week. They will be running pipe and wires, mounting devices and panels, dealing with low voltage, and more. Any controls experience is highly preferred. This position can pay between $25-$30/hr depending on experience. Below is a list of the responsibilities of the role.nnInstalls raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards and customer system requirements. Lays out electrical controls installation to provide lowest total installed cost.nnMounts and terminates controls equipment as needed.nnMay assist sales with electrical estimates, including walking retrofit projects.nnDetermines and validates final termination points to equipment interfaced with the installed system (i.e. chillers, boilers, roof top units, etc.).nnChecks out wiring and terminations of field-installed equipment with test instruments as needed (i.e. volt meters, handheld testers, etc.).nnKeeps management informed of job needs, progress and issues.nnCompletes paperwork, including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. Provides feedback to JCI Engineering on changes and keeps as-built drawings current.nnResolve job site conflicts regarding installation issues or escalates concerns to management as required.nnCommunicates with the customer as necessary upon arrival and before leaving the work site.nnAdheres to Johnson Controls safety programs and policies.nnPerforms other related duties as assigned.nnWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
