What You Will Be Doing
As a Pasteurizer, you'll oversee the pasteurization process, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities include operating and maintaining pasteurization equipment, monitoring temperatures and flow rates, and adhering to production schedules. You'll work closely with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to deliver consistent, high-quality milk products.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate pasteurization equipment to ensure milk is processed safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor temperature controls, flow rates, and timing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and cleaning to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of pasteurization activities, including batch logs and temperature charts.
  • Conduct quality control tests to ensure the product meets company and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address any issues affecting product quality.
  • Adhere to all GMP, HACCP, and company safety guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
What We Are Looking For
  • The ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experience:
  • Previous experience in a pasteurization or similar role in food production, preferably in a dairy environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards, including HACCP and GMP.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot complex equipment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
