About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist (PRN)to join our team at Landmark Hospital of Columbia LLC, MO02. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of medical conditions, including orthopedic and sports injuries, geriatric rehabilitation, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Your primary goal will be to help patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence through the use of manual therapy, exercise, and other therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, and sports medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in geriatric rehabilitation
- Certification in a specialized area of physical therapy, such as orthopedics or sports medicine
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting
Responsibilities: - Conduct patient evaluations to assess their physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on manual therapy and exercise interventions to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, exercise techniques, and other aspects of physical therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress reports
Skills: As a Physical Therapist, you will use your expertise in physical therapy, rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, orthopedics, sports injuries, sports medicine, and geriatric rehabilitation to help patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence.
