POSITION SUMMARY:
The Staff Physical Therapist reads patient's charts, evaluates patient's physical needs, and forms conclusions reflecting patient's progress on basis of both sensory or judgmental criteria, and measurable and verifiable criteria, indicated by their reaction to therapy activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal training which will probably be indicated by intensive knowledge of the physical therapy field which requires independent creative work; BS degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution, or a BS degree in a related field complemented by a certificate from an accredited physical therapy school; successful completion of the State Physical Therapy Examination and licensure process; one year of clinical experience.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM; position will require 0-25% travel time to cover at the 3 other HBC PT locations of Petal, Purvis, and Bellevue whenever therapist out for extended period of time.
