Physical Therapist - Inpatient
Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.000001 | On Call | Mainly Friday and Saturday coverage with some additional coverage for vacations
Position Summary
The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services to a wide variety of patients, in patient care areas including inpatient and outpatient. This position will be primarily outpatient and may provide weekend treatment to inpatients as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Graduation from a PTA program
- Ability to adhere to and maintain expertise regarding federal and state regulations and specific carrier requirements as related to Physical Therapy treatments
Licensure/Certifications
- PTA: Physical Therapist Assistant licensed by the Oregon Physical Therapist Licensing Board required upon start
- BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
Required Skills
- Ability to process information and to problem-solve individually and within a team setting
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks appropriately and to manager time well
- Flexibility with scheduling along with the ability to provide inpatient treatment on a weekend rotation
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, families, coworkers, physicians, and community members
