Job Summary and Qualifications
The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for rehab patients.
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments.
- Plan detailed nursing care according to hospital standards and physician orders.
- Document all nursing care clearly and comply with physician orders.
- Evaluate and respond to patient care outcomes in a timely manner.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience as a staff nurse is required.
Education:
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
License/Certification:
- Current RN license in Texas; if on a compact license, obtain Texas license within 90 days of hire.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) is preferred.
