Job Summary and Qualifications

The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for rehab patients.

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments.
• Plan detailed nursing care according to hospital standards and physician orders.
• Document all nursing care clearly and comply with physician orders.
• Evaluate and respond to patient care outcomes in a timely manner.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience as a staff nurse is required.

Education:

• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

License/Certification:

• Current RN license in Texas; if on a compact license, obtain Texas license within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) is preferred.
