My client is a sophisticated Michelin Italian restaurant who offers an elevated dining experience with authentic cuisine inspired by the flavors of Tuscany. Known for its open kitchen and wood-fired pizzas, the restaurant combines traditional recipes with fresh, seasonal ingredients in a stylish and welcoming atmosphere.
The Role:
The Chef de Cuisine will oversee both the restaurant and room service kitchens, ensuring the highest quality of Italian cuisine is delivered consistently. Responsibilities include managing kitchen operations, developing seasonal menus, and leading the culinary team to provide exceptional dining experiences for both restaurant guests and in-room service.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine in an Italian restaurant, with a deep understanding of authentic cuisine and culinary techniques
- Prior experience in a Michelin-starred restaurant is highly valued, demonstrating the ability to maintain exceptional standards of quality and presentation
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations across both restaurant and room service kitchens
- Skilled in kitchen operations, cost control, inventory management, and maintaining high levels of food safety and sanitation
