Global Sourcing Analyst | Hardware and Plumbing Industry | Fall River, MA

We are seeking a seasoned Global Sourcing Analyst with a deep understanding of hardware and plumbing sourcing. This expert will identify and develop cost-effective manufacturing routes globally, with a particular focus on sourcing from regions where cost efficiencies can be maximized. This critical role will shape the procurement strategy and contribute significantly to driving cost savings and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Sourcing Strategy: Research and evaluate potential manufacturing partners and suppliers across low-cost regions, with a focus on Cambodia, to identify cost-effective opportunities for hardware and plumbing production.
• Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining or exceeding quality standards. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to secure the best value for the business.
• Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers to ensure consistent quality, reliability, and service levels.
• Supply Chain Analysis: Evaluate existing supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements that enhance overall efficiency and profitability.
• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with global sourcing, including geopolitical, logistical, and compliance challenges.
• Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and procurement teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven expertise in global sourcing, particularly in hardware and plumbing sectors, with experience sourcing from cost-effective regions.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of securing favorable terms with international suppliers.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and cost analysis.
• Ability to navigate complex global markets and supply chain dynamics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations, logistics, and compliance requirements.
