Construction Project Manager


Scott Humphrey has partnered with a growing General Contractor in the Atlanta area to assist in finding their new Superintendent as the organization continues to grow. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of Healthcare/ Aviation/ Data Centers construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The Construction Superintendent plays a crucial role in maintaining quality standards and fostering a positive working environment on-site.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors for timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor progress and report on project status to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Manage on-site personnel and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of construction progress, materials, and expenditures.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and update project schedules and budgets.



Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Previous experiences in Healthcare/Aviation/Data Centers projects.
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations.
