Role Overview
You’ll play a pivotal role in designing and overseeing projects that range from treatment facilities to stormwater systems. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll lead efforts in structural design, assessments, and construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage structural designs for water/wastewater facilities, pipelines, and pump stations.
- Mentorship: Support and guide junior engineers to achieve technical and professional growth.
- Client Collaboration: Serve as a trusted partner to clients, delivering solutions tailored to their needs.
- Technical Excellence: Perform structural assessments, develop detailed engineering reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Quality Delivery: Lead the production of drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction oversight.
What You Bring
- Experience: 10+ years in structural engineering focused on water and wastewater projects.
- Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) and a PE License (or ability to obtain in Georgia).
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro), AutoCAD/REVIT, and building codes like IBC and ACI.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage complex projects and mentor diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- PE License or NCEES record with structural specialization.
- Advanced proficiency in tools like MATHCAD and regional/state licensure across multiple states.
