The END technologist II is qualified to provide a descriptive analysis of waveforms and patterns, but is not responsible for the interpretation of data. Strong well developed communication skills are essential for this position. The END technologist II performs all procedures appropriate to their credentials. Starting pay rate at $32.19/hr.nnAdditional InformationnnDepartment Name: Epilepsy Monitoring Unit Job Status: Full-Time; 40 hours/week - eligible for benefits Shift: Variable shifts availablennQualificationsnnEDUCATION - High school diploma or GED EXPERIENCE - Two years of experience in Electroneurodiagnostics, including clinicals and six months of pediatric experience. CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR LICENSE -ABRET Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) This position may require a BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Assists with special projects during non-patient care down time. Calibrates and maintains equipment and lab in good and clean condition; ver alizes malfunction to the Clinical Coordinator or Manager as needed. Completes all paperwork/forms for procedure being conducted; follows up with archiving of records. Follows the International 10-20 system for proper electrode application.
