Job Title: Structural Steel Detailer

Compensations: $30-$35 per hour ( + benefits and bonus)

Job Function:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel and/or Miscellaneous metals Detailer to join our client’s team in North Houston. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings for fabrication and erection of structural steel projects.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed shop and field drawings for structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects using 3D software.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
• Review project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documents to ensure that all details are accurately captured.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure that all project requirements are met.
• Prepare bill of materials, cut lists, and other project documentation as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metal detailing.
• Strong understanding of structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication processes.
• Experience with 3D software such as Tekla.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documents.
