Title: Process Development Technician

Location: Andover, MA

Duration: 12+ months

Schedule: Onsite Monday - Friday 9am – 5pm

Job Description:

• The candidate would work with key scientists in a fast- paced laboratory environment to develop or optimize process steps and solve problems for a wide variety of biotherapeutic constructs.
• The principal established technologies the candidate may contribute to include cell removal, chromatography, viral clearance and ultrafiltration, while targeting high purity and high yield processes.
• Experience with bioprocess technology and in biologics purification using chromatographic and filtration techniques is required.
• Familiarity with laboratory process development equipment for chromatography (ATKA) and supporting software such as Unicorn is preferred.
• Work closely with colleagues to support product development optimization and understand analytical tools to assess and interpret experimental data.
• Maintains written records (electronic lab notebooks and databases) of all experimental work in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or other related discipline
