Job Description
  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Produces ultrasonic images and participates in special studies under the clinical direction of a Radiologist or Physician. Evaluates quality of ultrasonic images. Provides a safe patient environment. Participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations.
  • EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum Required:
      • Graduation from a CAHEA (AMA) accredited radiography program, or its ultrasound equivalent.
      • Current registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) with up to date continuing education credits, or ARRT with equivalent training or experience.
      • BCLS certified; recertification required annually.
    • Preferred:
      • Breast Registry preferred, or one year to obtain ...
        Associate Degree in ultrasound technology or radiography, with prior experience as a medical sonographer.
