POSITION DETAILS
JOB PURPOSE
Prepare the final product to be shipped without damage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preparation of finished product for shipping by:
•Using a heat gun to wrap furniture to ensure it is not damaged during shipping
•Assist at various stages of the shrink wrap tunnel to wrap the product.
•Assist in loading of truck
Other duties as assigned by the Manager
WORKING CONDITIONS
Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Manufacturing Experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Experience in furniture manufacturing,
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Less than High School
PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalent
REQUIRED SKILLS
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
•Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
•Must be able to read an order ticket
•Strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills, including ability to describe and convey nonconformance issues is required.
•Strict attention to detail is a must.
•Must be a Team Player with a positive attitude.
•Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
•Must have your own reliable transportation.
•Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
•Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime.
•Must be reliable.
•Must have strong English language skills, including:
o Reading
o Comprehending
o Speaking
o Writing
o Communication
Must be able to wear required safety PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
