Job Title: Information Technology Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Information Technology Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager to join our team. This role is essential in aligning our governance processes with business priorities, managing IT-related risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships, support project management activities, help develop and document IT policies and procedures, and learn how to conduct risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Document IT projects, ensuring all information is gathered.
• Assist in planning and executing IT projects as needed.

Vendor Management:

• Use the risk management software platform to manage vendor due diligence and support risk management processes.
• Coordinate annual vendor assessments and ensure compliance with bank standards.

Governance:

• Develop and update IT policies, perform user access reviews, and ensure governance processes meet business and regulatory requirements.

Risk Management:

• Conduct risk assessments and test that IT policies and processes fall in line with new regulations, facilitate security exercises, and document risk management activities.

Additional Duties:

• Schedule and conduct regular meetings, ensuring accurate minutes are recorded following Rules of Order.
• Maintain issues tracking logs and follow up with issue owners to ensure accountability and resolution of audit findings and other issues.
• Act as a backup for basic administration of core banking systems (Horizon XE from FIS), including user setup and password resets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and IT governance frameworks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with risk management software is a plus.
