Infrastructure Manager - Direct Hire - St. Paul, MN

This position is responsible for defining and executing infrastructure architecture strategies, standards, and management practices, including disaster recovery, security, systems, servers, applications, performance monitoring, and storage. It leads a team of systems engineers who oversee server, cloud, and application administration, ensuring reliable 24x7 operations. As a strategic and visible role, this position plays a key part in driving the organization's transition to a cloud-first model while maintaining a best-in-class IT operations function.

This is a full-time, permanent position which will be hybrid with 3-4 days in-office in St. Paul, MN. Target salary is in the $120-150k range plus bonus.

Candidates must be local to the Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN metropolitan area. Candidates must also be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, both now and in the future.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic and Operational Duties:
* Collaborate with IT leadership to design and implement a hybrid server infrastructure with a strong focus on cloud adoption.
* Continuously evaluate and optimize patch management and software deployment processes, addressing risks and inefficiencies to ensure continuous uptime, enhanced security, and support for DevOps and CI/CD practices.
* Partner with Information Security to implement IT security initiatives, address audit findings, and mitigate risks effectively.
* Develop and enforce processes and controls that guarantee maximum system uptime, continuous improvement, and efficient service delivery for both on-premises and cloud environments.
* Create and maintain a robust Disaster Recovery strategy and build a resilient server infrastructure to eliminate single points of failure.
Systems Management:
* Oversee the lifecycle management of IT systems, including design, deployment, upgrades, maintenance, monitoring, and administration of applications, servers, storage, and databases.
* Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and operational metrics to meet organizational objectives and customer expectations.
* Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure the stability and reliability of IT systems.
Vendor and Process Management:
* Manage relationships with third-party vendors, holding them accountable for outsourced functions while ensuring contracts meet performance expectations.
* Standardize operational processes and develop key performance metrics to effectively manage the IT infrastructure.
Compliance and Leadership:
* Ensure compliance with regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
* Provide leadership and maintain regular, reliable attendance to support departmental operations.

Required Qualifications
Experience and Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 7-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on cloud technologies, data centers, messaging, collaboration tools, Office 365, and wide area networks.
