Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Technician
Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 16:00)

Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; first-timers welcome
License: State license required, pending submission is acceptable
Certifications: AART required (RCIS not required)
Must-Have: Cardiac interventional experience and Neuro/IR interventional experience
Job Description:
- Work in a short-term acute care facility with a total staff bed capacity of 536.
- No floating between units; however, may float to affiliate hospitals nearby.
- On-call required during nights and weekends; weekends not required for regular shifts.
- No block scheduling required.
- Expected patient ratios are 4:1.
- Scrub color is not specified for general use; provided in OR/Cath Lab.
- Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
- Orientation includes 40 non-billable hours.
- Modules to be completed pre-start and annually, with an average of 16 hours spent.
- Must provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty or setting.
- Return staff policy requires 3 months between permanent and travel assignments.
- Communication devices for work purposes are provided if required. If not provided, reimbursement for work-related cell phone use is available up to a specified amount.
