The Doe Run Company is seeking a Yard Equipment Operator to safely operate mobile equipment to facilitate movement and transfer of waste material. This dayshift position will be located at The Buick Resource Recycling Facility in Boss, MO.nnEducation and Experience:nnMinimum of three years of experience with heavy mobile equipment.nHigh school diploma or equivalent, preferred.nnKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:nn- - Ability to identify feeds and waste. - Ability to learn plant layout. - Knowledge of environmental rules and regulations regarding material handling and storage.nnResponsibilities:nnOperate haul trucks and end loaders, moving feed and transferring waste material.nTransport and place material in proper storage locations.nEnsure compliance with environmental requirements regarding the proper movement and storage of lead bearing material.nPerform pre-shift safety inspections on mobile equipment and perform maintenance tasks such as tightening, lubricating, and cleaningnComplete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health, and safety) policies, procedures, and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.nPerform other duties as assigned.nnWork Environment, Physical and Lifting:nnRegularly required to wear personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to, respirator, hearing protection and eyewear.
