Overview:

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Structural Engineer/Project Manager. This position is responsible for the completion of structural engineering design, investigation, and management of multiple projects of varying scope and complexity.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete structural reviews of existing buildings/structures
2. Completion of engineering design assignments and management of projects of various scope and complexity
3. Completion of complex engineering design projects in conjunction with senior Engineers
4. Use of a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques to solve problems
5. Office review of structural engineering shop drawings and calculations
6. Field review of structural related construction (e.g. reinforcing steel)
7. Application of design software for structural design in conjunction with senior Engineers
8. Recommend technological improvements to the department
9. Assist other engineers in carrying out technical tasks requiring accuracy in calculations, completeness of data and adherence to prescribed testing analysis, design or computation methods
10. Providing guidance and direction to junior and student engineers or technicians
11. Client interfacing, as required
12. Project management and coordination duties
13. Other assigned duties and tasks, as required

Qualifications:

1. Licensed as a Professional Engineer
2. Minimum 5+ years of experience.
3. Professional experience in a consulting engineering or construction engineering environment managing structural investigation and restoration projects
4. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
5. Ability to provide leadership to junior engineers/technicians
6. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
7. Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
8. Self-motivating and ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detail
9. Good oral and written English communication skills
10. Ability to act with business integrity and professionalism
11. Valid Driver’s License.
